CORES (Coaching Research & Sport Education Studies) is a scientific journal that focuses on publishing research findings, theoretical studies, and best practices in the fields of sports coaching and physical education. This journal serves as a scholarly communication platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and students from various disciplines of sports science to advance knowledge and enrich the body of literature in the field of sports.

The scope of CORES includes: sports coaching science, physical training methodology, sports psychology, biomechanics, exercise physiology, sports nutrition, physical education, sports pedagogy, physical education curriculum, recreation, physical activity for health, as well as innovations in sports learning and technology.

As a journal committed to the dissemination of knowledge, CORES adopts an open access policy, allowing all published articles to be freely accessible online without subscription fees. Each article undergoes a rigorous peer-review process by qualified reviewers in their respective fields to ensure scientific quality and meaningful contributions to the development of knowledge and sports practice.

Since its first publication, CORES has been issued regularly twice a year, in June and Desember, and accepts manuscript submissions throughout the year. Submitted manuscripts are reviewed immediately upon receipt, with priority given to works of high originality, significant contribution, and strong relevance to contemporary issues in sports coaching and physical education.
