Screening for Plagiarism

CORES (Coaching Research & Sport Education Studies) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and strictly follows the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The ethical standards apply to all parties involved in the publication process: authors, editors, peer reviewers, and the publisher.

  1. Duties of Authors
  • Authors must present original research that is free from plagiarism and has not been published elsewhere.
  • Authors should ensure the accuracy of data and provide sufficient detail and references to allow replication of the work.
  • All sources of financial support or potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed.
  • Authors must appropriately cite the work of others and acknowledge contributions.
  • Submission of the same manuscript to more than one journal is considered unethical and unacceptable.
  1. Duties of Editors
  • Editors are responsible for making fair and unbiased decisions regarding submitted manuscripts.
  • Editors must ensure that all manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process.
  • Editors should maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and not disclose information to anyone other than reviewers and editorial staff.
  • Editors must act if there is suspicion of misconduct or unethical behavior.
  1. Duties of Reviewers
  • Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback to assist authors in improving their manuscripts.
  • Reviewers should maintain confidentiality of manuscripts and not use any part of the content for personal advantage.
  • Reviewers must declare any conflict of interest and decline the review if such conflict exists.
  1. Duties of the Publisher
  • The publisher, Yayasan Mutiara Hati Moeslem, is responsible for ensuring that good publishing practices are upheld.
  • The publisher works closely with editors to safeguard the integrity and credibility of the academic record.
  • The publisher ensures that allegations of research misconduct are handled appropriately, in line with COPE standards.
